SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana softball team will carry its four-game winning streak into a doubleheader with Southwest Minnesota State on Wednesday at Bowden Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. while game two has an anticipated start time of 4 p.m.

About the Mustangs
Southwest Minnesota State is 13-18 overall while sitting at 4-4 in the NSIC after sweeping UMary this past Saturday. In that doubleheader, the Mustangs prevailed 2-1 and 7-5.
 
Jillian Noel is the top Mustangs' hitter per average as she hits at a .364 clip with six doubles, a triple and a home run. She also leads the team, by more than double, with 25 RBI. Abby Russell also owns an average about .300 with a .323 average and .824 OPS.
 
Karlie Miller owns a 3.04 ERA in the circle for SMSU with a 7-9 record. In 103.2 innings pitched, she's struck out 71 hitters while allowing 117 hits.
 
About the Vikings
Augustana, winners of four-straight and nine of 10, completed the weekend sweep of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State this past weekend. The Vikings topped UMD by scores of 4-1 and 3-2 while sweeping past the Huskies 11-4 and 8-6.
 
Ashton Dorman leads Augustana in average at .396 while the third basemen has belted four home runs and 11 doubles as part of her .613 slugging percentage. Desi Cuevas, owner for eight doubles, four triples and three home runs, bats at a .383 clip. The Vikings power comes from Torri Chute and Kennedy Buckman who each own six home runs on the season.
 
Grace Glanzer continues to dazzle in the circle with a 10-3 record and 1.01 ERA. She has struck out 100 batters in 98 innings. Lexi Lander, who carried a perfect game into the seventh inning against SCSU, owns six wins and pitched to a 1.50 ERA while going 2-0 this past week. She held opponents to a .094 average.
