MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Augustana men's golf finished up The Showdown Invitational 77-over-par against 17 other programs on Monday and Tuesday. Will Allen led the Vikings with 226 shots over the three rounds.

How it Happened

• Allen pulled together the strongest finish for the Vikings with a combined round of 226 with scores of 72 (+1), 73 and 81. The junior pulled together 24 pars, nine birdies and one eagle. 
• Jacob Stewart pulled together a stroke count of 228 while shooting 1-under-par in round one. The sophomore garnered an average stroke count of 4.67 on Par-5's. 
• Emmet Hanson shot the best on round three with a score of 80. Hanson putted in a combined score of 234.
• Augustana tallied 113 pars and 30 birdies. 
• Augustana's best team score came in round two with a score of 299. The Vikings finished with a combined score of 929.

Augustana returns home for the first time this spring with the Augustana Invite on Monday and Tuesday. The Vikings will tee off at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
