Augustana Men’s Golf Finishes 6th in NSIC Championships

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Augustana men's golf placed sixth in the NSIC Championships after shooting a third-round score of 300. Through three rounds, the Vikings had a stroke count of 910. Jacob Stewart led the Vikings with a score of 223 and a tie for 12th.

How It Happened
  • Stewart pulled together rounds of 75, 74 and 74 for a total stroke count of 223. Stewart led the Vikings with an average score of 3.25 on Par-3s and dropped in a share of a team-high 32 pars.  
  • Emmet Hansen compiled a stroke count of 224 after rounds of 69, 80 and 75 while leading the Vikings with an average stroke of 4.13 on Par-4s and dropping a team-high 14 birdies.
  • Will Allen pulled together a total score of 229 after rounds of 75, 80 and 74. Allen dropped in 32 pars throughout three days.
  • Spencer Wittstruck pulled together rounds of 78, 79 and 82 for a stroke count of 239. Wittstruck shot an average score of 4.83 on Par-5s.
  • Cullen Johnson shot a total score of 252 in rounds of 87, 88 and 77. Johnson sank 24 pars. 
  • Augustana dropped in 132 pars through three day and was third in the tournament with 36 birdies. 
  • The Vikings shot an average score of 4.35 on Par-4s.
