ORLANDO, Fla. –
Molly Stevens of Augustana women's golf is prepped and ready to go in the DII National Championships held at the Orange County National Golf Resort and Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida and hosted by the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and Rollins College on May 21-23. Stevens will play as an individual in the tournament.
How it HappenedÂ
Stevens qualified as an individual after shooting a round 223. She shot rounds of 72, 74 and 77 and battled tough conditions in Bartlesville, Oklahoma during the Central Regional. She finished fifth overall in the tournament and punched her ticket as the second individual qualifier.Â
Tournament Format
At the finals, all 18 teams and 8 individuals will complete 54 holes of stroke play. Following 54 holes of stroke play, an individual champion will be declared.
The Course
Stevens will play at Orange County National Golf Resort and Lodge on the Panther Course.Â
