LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Four members of the 2024 Augustana softball team have been named NFCA All-Americans after a 50-win season, announced Wednesday.

Gracey Brink,
Desi Cuevas and
Torri Chute were all honored in the announcement. 39 programs were highlighted with All-American honors with Augustana, West Texas and Pitt State leading the charge with four each. This is the fourth time in history that Augustana has four Vikings named. Chute and Kenzie Smith (UIndy) are the 21st and 22nd four-time NFCA DII All-Americans.
Glanzer garnered First Team All-American honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). She started in 35 games and finished with an overall record of 28-5. Glanzer was dominant in the circle with a .64 ERA and only allowed 36 runs in 228.1 innings pitched. She was named D2CCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year and was the NSIC Pitcher and Newcomer of the Year.
Brink, the NSIC Player of the Year makes her second All-American appearance after being named to the NFCA Second Team. She hit for a .400 batting average and had an OPS of 1.243. In 185 plate appearances, she had 74 hits for 17 doubles, two triples and 14 home runs. Brink's slugging percentage of .741 helped total 45 RBIs on the season.
A NSIC First Team and All-Defensive Team honoree, Cuevas was named NFCA Third Team after an impressive freshman season. The freshman outfielder led the Vikings with a 4.24 batting average in 217 at-bats. She started in 64 games this season and hit 10 home runs and totaled 42 RBIs. Cuevas was also named a TUCCI/NFCA DII Freshman of the Year Finalist.
Not shy to the award, Chute has earned her fourth honor after being named Third Team All-American. She passed the career program RBI record this season and finished her Viking career with 253. Chute hit for a .351 batting average and recorded 71 hits in 202 at-bats and led the Vikings with a team-high 18 home runs.
