SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Vice President for Athletics Josh Morton has announced the addition of Emily Staedy to the athletics department as the Director of Marketing & Fan Experience.
 
Staedy, a native of Maple Grove, Minnesota, spent the past two years as the Marketing, Event Management, Promotions and Fan Engagement Graduate Assistant at St. Cloud State. There, Staedy worked with on-campus partnerships, in-game marketing efforts and marketing and promotion plans for SCSU's 21 athletic programs. 

Prior to her time as a GA, Staedy spent a year as an undergraduate marketing intern for the Huskies. She has also worked as a marketing intern for the Minnesota Wild and completed her practicum work with the St. Cloud Norsemen of the NAHL. 

Staedy earned her bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism from St. Cloud State in May 2022 before earning a master's degree in strategic media communications this past May. 
 
Staedy began her duties with Augustana on Monday.
