Ten Named to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- 10 student-athletes were selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) to the 2023-24 At-Large Academic All-District team. Augustana was represented by hockey, wrestling and women's golf on the all-district team.

Shannon McCormick, Women's Golf
McCormick, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, competed in 12 events and 25 rounds of golf this season. She had a 77.4 stroke average in 2023-24 and helped her team to an NSIC Championship. She placed in a tie for fifth at the NSIC Championships and earned a spot on the All-Tournament team. 

Molly Stevens, Women's Golf
Stevens, from Northfield, Minnesota, closed her 2023-24 season at the NCAA Championships after being named NSIC Golfer of the Year for the third consecutive year. She was named First Team All-NSIC, earned NSIC All-Tournament honors, tied for third at the NSIC Championships with a three round total of 229 and helped Augustana to its fourth straight and 13th overall NSIC Championship. This season, Stevens had 10 top-10 finishes, nine top-5 and two medalist honors. 

Lauren Tims, Women's Golf
Tims, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota,  finished the regular season with one first place finish, five top-five finishes and seven top-10 finishes. Her stroke average on the season is 76.6 and helped her team to an NSIC Championship. Tims was an All-NSIC First Team selection and placed second in the NSIC Championships on her way to All-Tournament honors.

Lanie Veenendall, Women's Golf
Veenendall, from New Richmond, Wisconsin, competed in 12 events and 25 rounds of golf this season. She had a first place finish and six top-five finishes while holding a 76.2 stroke average in 2023-24 and helped her team to an NSIC Championship. Veenendall earned All-NSIC First Team honors. She also tied for fifth at the NSIC Championships to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team. 

Masy Mock, Women's Golf
A junior from Mitchell, South Dakota, Mock played in eight events and 15 rounds for Augustana. She averaged a stroke count of 78.7 ad had a pair of top-10 finishes for the NSIC Champion Vikings. 

Shay Donovan, Hockey
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Donovan earned 2023-24 CCHA All-Academic honors in his final collegiate season. The assistant captain played in 33 games and tallied eight points (2 goals, 6 assists) with 42 blocked shots. 

Anthony Stark, Hockey
Stark, from New York, New York, played in 30 games on his way to CCHA All-Academic honors. He recorded two goals, three assists and 39 blocked shots in his final collegiate season.

Arnaud Vachon, Hockey
The first captain in program history, the Ajax, Ontario native played all 34 games and was third on the team with 16 points. He racked up eight goals and eight assists, including three game winners. He was a Hockey Humanitarian Award nominee and CCHA All-Academic honoree in 2023-24. 

Ryan Naumovski, Hockey
The fifth year forward from Shelby Township, Michigan led the team with 25 points (8 goals and 17 assists) and played in all 34 games for the Vikings. He recorded four multi-point games and was a member of the CCHA All-Academic team. 

Jaxson Rohman, Wrestling
Rohman, from Trimont, Minnesota, finished his junior season with a 22-5 record, All-American honors and a second place finish at the NCAA DII National Championship tournament. In addition to CSC Academic All-District honors, Rohman was named to the All-NSIC First Team, NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and NWCA Division II Scholar All-America honors.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022‐23 Divisions II and III Academic All‐ America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All‐America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
