SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana soccer (2-3-1, 1-1) returns home for a two-game homestand against St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth and it continues conference play. The Vikings will be giving out vuvuzelas and pet waste dispensers as a promotion. 
Friday's match against SCSU is set for Friday at 4 p.m. and Sunday's affair against UMD will kick off at 1 p.m.

The Huskies
St. Cloud State (5-1, 2-0) comes into the weekend on a five-game win streak. The Huskies opened up the season with a 1-0 loss against Michigan Tech before catching fire with wins over Northern Michigan, Roosevelt and Wisconsin-Parkside. They opened up conference play with wins over Minnesota Duluth and Bemidji State.
Junior forward Ellie Primerano leads SCSU with nine points by way of four goals and one assist. She has totaled eight shots on goal in 379 minutes of action. Primerano was recently named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week. 
The Bulldogs
Minnesota Duluth (1-4, 1-1) comes into the weekend after defeating Minnesota Crookston 1-0 in his second conference game of the season. The Bulldogs rode a four-game losing streak before Crookston as they dropped their season opener 6-1 to Northern Michigan, lost 1-0 to Michigan Tech and dropped matches to Northern State and St. Cloud State. 
Three different Bulldogs have netted goals for UMD. Jessica Eischens, Lilly Gwendolyn, Kailey Tomzak and Maria Zanotti have two points each. 
The Vikings
Augustana comes off a three-game week and opened up conference play with a 1-1 record. The Viking dropped its final non-conference match to Northwest Missouri before it bounced back with a 1-0 win over Winona State. Augustana finished out the weekend with a 3-1 loss to Minnesota State Mankato. 
Macie Haggerty and 
Avery Heinz lead the Vikings with four points each. Heinz recorded her first goal of the season in Augustana's win over Winona State. 
Aaliyah Matthews has backstopped the Vikings in six games. She has recorded 22 saves in 466.02 minutes of play. 
Madelyn White, 
Sierra Barkus and 
Ally Hamski round out the final three scorers on the 2024 season with one goal each. Augustana is averaging 13.2 shots per game with an on-goal percentage of .443.
