MINOT, N.D. – The Augustana soccer team moved to 7-1-2 overall on Friday afternoon with a 2-1 win over Minot State. Grace Katter and Connor Rylance collected goals on the night.

Augustana opened up the scoring in the first half as Audrey Parnell found Katter inside the box to put the Vikings up 1-0 in the 26th minute. Rylance added to the scoring in the 32nd minute as she headed in a ball off a corner kick from Madelyn White. Minot State found momentum in the second half, but Augustana held on to secure its fourth conference win. 

Taya Baker made five saves in Friday's affair.

SHOT (Minot) 47' - Anna Miotto missed high of the net.

SHOT (AU) 52' - Delaney Awe was denied a shot pinned to the lower left of the net.

GOAL (Minot) 55' - Amezcua found the back of the woodwork with a shot from outside the box. 

SHOT (AU) 59' - Katter rang in a shot on goal.

SHOT (Minot) 81' - Salas got denied by Baker.

SHOT (AU) 89' - White recorded another shot on goal.
