ST. PAUL, Minn. — Augustana defenseman Easton Young was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week, while freshman forward Leonid Bulgakov earned CCHA Rookie of the Week honors for Augustana's 1-1 weekend against Omaha on December 19-20, the league announced Tuesday. 

Young led all Augustana defensemen with four assists over the weekend, recording three helpers in Friday's 7-4 win against Omaha before adding another assist on Saturday.

Bulgakov totaled three goals in the two-game series, scoring twice in Friday's victory and adding another goal on Saturday while leading the team with eight shots on goal.

Augustana returns to action this weekend as it hosts Colorado College in a non-conference action.
