First Team Special Teams
Jake Pecina | Punter | Forney, Texas
The junior was named to the All-NSIC First Team for the third consecutive season, but his first as a punter. The two-way special teams weapon led the South with a 43.0 punt average, a number that was ninth in the country. A certified field flipper, Pecina stuck 16 punts inside the 20 and struck 13 punts for at least 50 yards. He also went 8 of 12 on field goals with an NSIC-long and school record 57-yarder against Wayne State Sept. 15.
Second Team Offense
Stylz Blackmon | Offensive Line | Grain Valley, Missouri
Blackmon, a first-time All-NSIC and All-Region selection, earns a first-team honor after showing versatility and durability. The sophomore started all 11 games, three at center before shifting to left guard for eight. He blocked for one of the most efficient passing attacks in the country and a top-20 team in third-down conversion percentage. He also helped pave the way for the second-best red zone offense in the country.
