KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Henry Dornbusch of Augustana men's tennis was named the MIAA/GAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week, after he went 2-0 in singles and doubles, play from the number one slot. 

Dornbusch was undefeated in all four matches from No.1 singles and No.1 doubles, despite Augustana dropping a pair of MIAA/GAC North Division matchups to Northwest Missouri and No. 4-ranked Washburn. In the Vikings 4-3 loss to the Bearcats, Dornbush defeated Rafal Bednarczk 7-6, 6-0 and teamed up with Conrad Koch for a 6-0 shutout in doubles action. Against the ranked Ichabods, Dornbush defeated Washburn's No. 15-ranked Vesek Schneider in three sets (6-2, 3-6, 6-1). In doubles action, Dornbush and Koch upset the No. 1-ranked doubles pair in Division II, Washburn's Matthew Earle and Tim Hammes, for a 6-4 victory. The senior from Stapelmoor, Germany, was the only Viking to win against the Ichabods.
