ST. PAUL, Minn. – Tyler Hennen of Augustana men's hockey was named the CCHA Rookie of the Week after he notched four points in the Vikings weekend sweep against Lake Superior State, announced by the league Monday afternoon. 

Hennen notched a goal and an assist in Augustana's 6-3 win on Friday night. He continued his weekend with two assists in the Vikings' 4-3 win to complete the weekend sweep. 

Hennen played one full season in the NAHL for the Anchorage Wolverines where he tallied 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points in 58 games. He totaled 302 points in 92 high school games with Kittson Central and is one of the all-time leading scorers in the stats of Minnesota for high school hockey. 

The Vikings continue conference play this weekend as it heads to Mankato, Minnesota to play ranked Minnesota State.
