SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- The Augustana men's golf team travels to the southwest United States on Monday to open the spring portion of the 2024-25 season at the Maverick Desert Classic in Goodyear, Arizona. The event takes place on Monday and Tuesday, featuring six teams from the NSIC and six others.

The Vikings
During the fall, the Vikings finished in the top five in four different tournaments. In late September, AU finished first in the UMary Invitational. In its last outing of the fall season, the Vikings finished 16th in the Tulsa Cup. 

Will Allen was named NSIC Golfer of the Week after the UMary Invitational. He shot back-to-back rounds of 70 and won the tournament by six strokes. 

Spring Season
Augustana competes in four regular season competitions in the spring with the fifth being the NSIC Championships. The Vikings will host the Augustana Invitational on April 7-8, leading into the aforementioned NSIC Championship on April 17-19.
