SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana women's tennis was picked as the No. 1 seed in the Central Region ahead of the NCAA Tournament, announced last week by the NCAA selection committee. 

Preliminary rounds will be played May 12-13 at sixteen regional sites. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 21-25, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts. 

The Vikings
Fresh off winning its 14th straight NSIC Tournament Championship, Augustana will face the winner of No. 4 Southern Arkansas or No. 5 Northwest Missouri State on May 13. The Vikings went 9-0 in conference play and are riding an 11-match winning streak.

Location
The Huether Tennis Centre on Augustana's campus will host the matches. If the weather becomes a problem, matches will be played indoors at Huether Match Pointe.
