PUEBLO, Colo. – In the lone event for Augustana track and field on day one of the NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, Kylee Sallee kicked things off with All-America Honorable Mention honors.
 
The senior from Hudson, Iowa logged a jump of 19-00.75 (5.81m) on her final leap of the event to finish 18^th overall on the national stage.
 
Sallee ends her career as a Viking with the school record for the women's long jump after securing a mark of 20-01.50 at the Maverick Open earlier this season. She also was a member of the record-breaking 4x100-meter relay team that made program history in 46.33 seconds at the Drake Relays.
 
Action will resume for Augustana tomorrow evening, as Bryn Greenwaldt and Andrew Martens are set to take flight in the women's high jump and the men's 110-meter hurdle prelims, respectively. Events will begin for the Vikings at approximately 5:45 p.m. CT.
