SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana Vikings are ready to compete this weekend at the NSIC Outdoor Championships starting Thursday, May 8 through Saturday, May 10 in Duluth, Minnesota.
Combined events begin on Thursday at 1 p.m. continuing through Friday. Friday starts preliminary races at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. will see the start of field events. Saturday will begin at 1 p.m. with running event finals and 10 a.m. with field event finals.

At last year's conference meet, the Vikings saw multiple NSIC individual champions and several others claiming All-Conference honors. Ella Bakken took first in the 10,000-meter run and is looking to repeat that success at this years conference meet

Ryan Hartman was a two-time NSIC Champion in the 1500-meter and 5000-meter run last year. Hartman has seen several top finishes this outdoor season and is ready to show his speed this weekend.

Andrew Martens rounds out last year's NSIC Champions in the 110-meter hurdles. Like Hartman, he has seen several top finishes in his outdoor campaign this season.Â

There are several Vikings to keep an eye out for at this year's conference meets including the four relay teams.Â

Both the men's and women's 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays teams have seen a couple top-three finishes this season and are looking to keep their top finishes at the conference meet this weekend.

A couple members of those relay teams include Lily Juhnke, Nyanus Kur, and Jennifer Noutsougan. All three of these athletes have seen top-five finishes throughout the outdoor season. Juhnke and Noutsougan are seeking success in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. Kur will be doing the same for the 200-meter and 400-meter dash.Â

For distance runners, Sydnee Serck will be running for a podium finish in the 800-meter dash. Caroline Sudbeck is looking to round out her career with a podium finish in the 800-meter dash and the 1500-meter run.Â

For field events, Bryn Greenwaldt, an indoor high jump All-American, is after the same title in the outdoor season. She has seen several top-three finishes including two first-place finishes.
