Season Series
Earlier this season, Augustana and St. Thomas met three times—once at Midco Arena and twice at Lee and Penny Anderson Arena. In November, the Vikings rallied from behind to force a 4-4 tie before claiming the shootout victory. In the teams' most recent series, Augustana earned another shootout win after a 3-3 tie and then closed out the regular-season matchup with a 4-0 victory.

The Tommies
St. Thomas enters the matchup with a 20-11-5 overall record and a 15-7-4 mark in CCHA play, defeating Lake Superior State in two games to advance to the semifinals. The Tommies average 3.56 goals per game while allowing 2.89 and outshoot opponents by nearly six shots per contest. Their offense has produced 128 goals this season, supported by a power play that has scored 27 times and an aggressive penalty kill that has added 11 short-handed goals.

Offensively, St. Thomas is led by Alex Gaffney with 17 goals and 39 points, while Lucas Wahlin has paced the team in goals with 21, adding 38 points. Lucas Van Vliet and Nathan Pilling provide additional scoring depth in the lineup. In goal, Aaron Trotter has been a steady presence with a 2.39 goals-against average and .910 save percentage, while Carsen Musser has also logged significant minutes in net for the Tommies this season.

The Vikings
Augustana enters the matchup with a 22-10-4 overall record and a 14-8-4 mark in CCHA play, defeating Bemidji State at Midco Arena to advance to the semifinals. The Vikings average 3.0 goals per game while allowing just 2.0 and have scored 108 goals on the season. Augustana's special teams have also been a factor, converting at .214 percent on the power play while adding four short-handed goals.

Offensively, Brett Meerman leads the Vikings with 28 points on 13 goals and 15 assists, while Colton Friesen has recorded 27 points with 12 goals and 15 assists. Leonid Bulgakov leads the team with 15 goals and has added 23 points on the year, while Jacob Jastrzebski and Easton Young provide additional depth in the lineup for Augustana.

Leonid Bulgakov and Josh Kotai were recognized earlier this week with All-CCHA honors, as Bulgakov earned a spot on the CCHA All-Rookie Team while Kotai was named to the All-CCHA First Team.
