BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana's men's outdoor track and field team was selected to finish fourth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced Thursday morning by league officials.
Sophomore
Bryant Keller was named Preseason Athlete to Watch after earning top-seven finishes in three different events last outdoor season. He looks to continue momentum from the indoor season where he earned NSIC Championships in both the 3000m and 5000m.
"The men's team continues to develop well, with a good mix of both experienced veterans and new up-and-comers" said head coach Scott Tanis. "That balance has created a competitive and supportive environment within the group and it's been encouraging to see the progress across the board. We're also excited to have a few athletes returning to the mix this spring, along with the opportunity to compete in additional events from what's offered indoors."
Coach Tanis said, "Bryant scored in both the 1500 and 5K at the NSIC Outdoor Championships last year and has taken positive steps since. He was All-NSIC in cross country during the fall and built on that with NSIC titles in the 5K and 3K this indoor season. I'm excited him to build on that momentum as we enter the 2026 outdoor season."
Augustana will kick off its outdoor season on March 26 at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis, Missouri.
