MANKATO, Minn. – In the final day of competition at the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Augustana track and field squad collected 10 all-conference finishes with three NSIC event titles.
The Viking men finished third in the team standings with 484 points only behind host Minnesota State and MSU Moorhead while the women were fifth with 61 points.
Jude Jarding earned the first NSIC Championship of the day in the 400m. After a fourth-place prelim run, he edged out a pair of Mavericks with a time of 48.39 to claim a title.
In the women's 800m, the Vikings took the top two spots to add a conference championship.
Peyton Boeck finished ahead of the rest, taking the crown with a time of 2:13.89. Not far behind was
Sydnee Serck, whose 2:14.39 was good for runner-up honors.
Also earning a men's title was
Bryant Keller, following up a 5000m NSIC Championship last night with a 3000m victory in 8:27.62. Just behind him was
Isaiah Anderson, taking All-NSIC honors with a runner-up finish at 8:29.03.
Ashton Massey put on an athletic display in the pentathlon. She took the 800m and finished third in both the 60m hurdles and high jump. She added a sixth place finish in the shot put an deighth place finish in the long jump, all contributing to a second-place pentathlon finish.
Tyson Ricker got the Vikings an All-NSIC honor early, taking second in the 1 mile with a time of 4:19.46 after finishing fourth a season ago.
Max Salas just missed All-NSIC honors after placing fourth with a time of 4:22.04. In the women's 600m
Erin Eilers earned a third-place finish for All-Conference honors with a time of 1:37.46.
Ellen Merkley had a pair of All-NSIC performances on the afternoon. In the 60m, She blazed for a time of 7.56 to earn a third-place finish. She added a third-place finish in the 200m which she ran in 24.84.

The Augustana Vikings will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships if such athletes are to advance. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held on March 13 and 14 in Virginia Beach, Virginia
