BURNSVILLE, Minn. – After collecting two NSIC championship titles at the recent conference meet, Augustana's Bryant Keller has been named the NSIC Outdoor Men's Track Athlete of the Year, league officials announced Thursday.
 
He becomes the fifth men's track and field athlete in program history to earn the conference honor and second in as many seasons. He was also named USTFCCCA All-Region in the 5000m on Wednesday. 
 
Keller has carried strong cross country and indoor seasons into the spring. He took home two top finishes in the final two of the NSIC Championship meet, cruising to first in the 5000-meter run in 14:45.20 and first in the 3000-meter steeplechase in a personal-best 9:13.05. 
 
He also ran a personal best in the 5000 earlier this season, finishing in 14:18.52 at the UW-Platteville Invitational. He holds top-10 times in each event on the program record lists as well and finishes his season in 11th among Central Region runners with his 3000 steeplechase time.
