- Prior to joining the Lancers, he spent four years in the Chicago Mission Program from AAA to 16U levels
- Â While he was in Chicago he won four straight titles and finished national runner-up twice.Â

- Brian was born on November 6, 2000, in Lake Bluff, Illinois to parents Jeff and Marianne Silver
- He has six siblings: Matthew, Andrew, Eric, Mikey, Lexi and Johnny
- He enjoys playing a round of golf and playing the guitar in his free time when he is not playing hockey
