#8 Darren Niklason (WR, 6-1, 180, Jr., Brandon, S.D./Brandon Valley) had a career day in Augustana’s 35-27 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday. Niklason set career-highs with 10 catches for 125 yards and three touchdowns. The junior helped the Vikings’ regain the lead just before halftime snagging a 13-yard touchdown pass from Josh Hanson with three seconds left in the second stanza. Niklason found the end zone for the second time in the game on a 17-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and gave the Vikings a 35-13 lead midway through the fourth quarter on a nine-yard reception for his career-high third touchdown of the game. He also caught a 31-yard pass in his breakout day.
