SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana College football opens NSIC South Division play against Upper Iowa University this Saturday, Oct. 4, in Fayette, Iowa. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from Harms-Eischeid Stadium. Augustana (3-1, 0-0 NSIC South) and Upper Iowa (4-0, 0-0 NSIC South) both enter Saturday's game receiving votes in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 poll.
 
Augustana has had the upper hand in the series with Upper Iowa winning all seven meetings since 2005. The Vikings are coming off a 52-0 win over U-Mary at home last weekend, recording their second shutout of the season.  Upper Iowa went on the road and scored a touchdown with five seconds remaining in the game to defeat St. Cloud State 37-31 last Saturday.
 
Augustana and Upper Iowa both enter Saturday's game averaging over 40 points per game, but the Vikings have allowed just 10 points per game this season which ranks second in the NSIC and seventh in the country.
