SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Owning a five-game win streak and a No. 14 national ranking, the Augustana women's basketball team now returns home for a weekend series at the Sioux Falls arena. The Vikings will take on Minnesota Crookston at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, and close out the weekend Sunday with 12:30 p.m. tip-off vs. Bemidji State.

The Vikings (10-1, 3-0 NSIC) are coming off a pair of conference road victories this past weekend. Â In Friday's 78-67 win over Winona State,
Shelby Selland led the way for the Vikings finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Lynsey Prosser racked up 17 points and five rebounds, and
Abby Hora had 13 points and two rebounds in 28 minutes of action.
When the Vikings hit the hardwood on Saturday vs. Upper Iowa they continued their success with an 86-52 win. The Vikings tallied 10 steals, forced 20 turnovers, and held Upper Iowa to shooting just 27.1% from the field. The Vikings also saw six players score 8 or more points, Selland leading the way back-to-back days with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
For her efforts over the weekend, Â Selland was honored as the NSIC South Player of the Week. In the two victories this weekend, Selland averaged 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 blocks per game, and three assists per game.
The Vikings success stems from their relentless defense and up-tempo offense. The Vikings are averaging more than 17 assists per game, which is 20th in the nation. In the Vikings most recent wins over Upper Iowa and Winona State, Augustana scored 36 points off turnovers and 22 off the fast break. Overall, Augustana's 80.5 points per game rank 1st in the Northern Sun Conference.
