SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana women's basketball team welcomes a pair of additions to its 2026-27 roster. Lilliana Petersen and Madison Roberts have signed to play for the Vikings in 2026-27.

Lilliana Petersen | Forward | Omaha, Neb. | Central Omaha HS | Cal State Fullerton
Vogel on Petersen: "Lilly is a big time addition for us. She gives us a really long player that can play inside out. Her ability to shoot the 3 combined with her length gives us a lot of versatility. Lilly is another high academic student who is not only a great basketball player but a top notch student."

Previous School: Petersen appeared in 19 games for the Titans last season, scoring 26 points in 115 minutes. Prior to her time at Cal State Fullerton, She averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in her lone season at Cloud County Community College. 

High School: Petersen graduated from Omaha Central HS in 2024. She lettered in basketball all four years for the Eagles.  Her team went to state three of the four years she was there. She played club basketball for Nebraska Hoops Elite in the Select 40 league under head coach Latrell Wrightsell.

Personal: Lilliana is the daughter of Nels Petersen and Juanita DeLeon. She plans to major in communications while at Augustana.

Vogel on Roberts: "Madi gives us a dominant post presence on both ends of the floor. She allows us to spread the floor with her ability to keep teams honest by shooting the 3. Madi has great hands and is an aggressive rebounder. Her physicality and toughness will be something our team can lean on."

Previous School: Roberts appeared in 22 games for the Bronchos last season, scoring 49 points and grabbing 52 rebounds in 95 minutes. Prior to UCO, She spent a season at Southeast Missouri State and, before that, averaged 12.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in 54 games (40 starts) at Seminole State. She was dominant as a sophomore for the Belles, averaging 17.3 points and 11.6 rebounds per game and recorded 20 double-doubles. 

High School: Roberts started all four seasons at Classen School of Advanced Studies for head coach Jim Perinovic. She graduated in 2021.

Personal: Madison is the daughter of Malcolm and Deirdra Roberts. She plans to pursue an MBA while at Augustana.
