SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana women's basketball team welcomes an addition to its 2026-27 roster. Katelyn Odem has signed her national letter of intent to play for the Vikings in 2026-27.

Vogel on Odem: "Katelyn gives an immediate impact player who scores it well and defends with intensity. She has started a lot of games as a college basketball player. Her experience will be valuable in the always competitive NSIC conference. She is a high academic student who fits our culture perfectly!"
Previous School: Odem played in 60 games, including 40 starts in two seasons with the Bulldogs. She scored 355 points, including averaging 7.3 points per game last season. She totaled 52 steals and 143 rebounds while dishing 76 assists.
High School: Odem's Homestead team has won two straight North Shore Conference titles and the guard was a third team all-conference selection last season after dishing out 75 assists, making 47 steals and averaging 9.1 points per game as a junior. Through her first three years, Odem has over 200 career assists and 150 career steals. She was named to the WBCA Academy All-State team and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Katelyn is the daughter of Mary Lee and Andrew Odem. She plans to major in business administration while at Augustana.
