SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Due to severe flooding and a winter weather advisory in Sioux Falls, Thursday's South Dakota/Minnesota/Iowa wrestling event is canceled. 

Augustana wrestling head coach Jason Reitmeier looks to make up the event in May. A future date is still to be decided. 

With an expected blizzard on Thursday, a number of schools around the Sioux empire are also closed.  According to the national weather service, an intense storm across the central Plains will continue through Thursday evening.
