MANHEIM, Penn. – Augustana wrestling accrued the 22nd-best team grade point average in the country at 3.267 and NWCA Division II Scholar All-American honors while seven Vikings earned individual distinction, officials announced Thursday and Friday.

The student-athletes recognized have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom and met one of the required criteria.

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2026 Nationals. Wrestlers must have competed in four dates of competition.

A total of 440 individuals were honored as 2026 Scholar All-Americans from 64 institutions. Northern State topped the team ranking with a 3.568 GPA while Vanguard (3.597), Nebraska-Kearney (3.548) UIndy (3.517) and Newberry (3.504) made up the top five.
