PITTSBURG, Kan. -- Sprinting down the indoor track for the final time, Paul Meloche competed with some of best runners in the nation on Friday afternoon. 

The senior finished 14th in the 60m hurdles crossing the finish line in 8.30 seconds. 

Earlier this season, Meloche qualified for the 60m hurdles after running a personal-best at the NSIC Championships with a time of 8.02.

Charlie Forbes of the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs qualified first with a time of 7.94 seconds. Eight sprinters will compete for the national title Saturday afternoon.
