INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA released their national qualifiers list for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Tuesday and the Augustana track and field team earned five qualifying spots Kingsville, Texas. The Vikings had two women qualify for the three-day event, while three men will be traveling to Texas.

On the women's side, Olivia Montez Brown qualified in the heptathlon with the ninth best time in the country. The junior looks to follow up her national title in the indoor season in the pentathlon. Mackenzie Kelly qualified in the steeplechase with the 12th best time in the nation and the 5000m with a top 20 time. 

For the Viking men, Jesus Urtusuastegui will be competing in Kingsville in the steeplechase after qualifying with the 11th best time in the country. Nathan Schroeder also qualified in the event with the 17th-ranked time. Rounding out the national qualifiers was Josh Barrows who qualified in the 400m hurdles the 24th best. Barrows will be running at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second time in his career.

The Championships will take place on May 23-25 in Kingsville, Texas at the campus of UT-Kingsville at Javelina Stadium.
