BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- In a year marked by the first regular-season title since the Vikings joined the NSIC, Augustana claimed three of the five major conference awards while earning six All-Conference honors and three NSIC Gold Glove awards. 

Max Steffens earned NSIC Pitcher and Newcomer of the Year after a historic season on the hill for the Vikings. The junior has pitched the most innings for a season in school history before the team has competed in the postseason. Steffens held the best ERA in the regular season in the conference with a 1.51 ERA. 

Head Coach Tim Huber won his first NSIC Coach of the Year award in his 11th season after the Vikings won their first NSIC regular season title this season. Augustana went 36-14 overall with a 29-6 conference record and swept eight conference series this season.
