SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana's 2019-20 women's basketball schedule, which will feature three games at the Elmen Center with the rest of the 11 home games being played at the Sanford Pentagon, was announced on Tuesday by head coach Dave Krauth.
The Vikings will open up their 26-game slate on Saturday, Nov. 16 against Truman State in Kirksville, Mo. at 11 a.m. Following their trip down to Missouri, Augustana returns home for three games at the Elmen Center against Midland University (Nov. 19), Mount Marty College (Nov. 22) and Bellevue University (Nov. 25).
Augustana will then open up Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play on the road against Wayne State on Nov. 30 in Wayne, Neb. On Dec. 6 the Vikings will hit Heritage court and the Sanford Pentagon for the first time for the conference home opener against Winona State.
Augustana will close out the 2019 calendar year against Wayne State at the Sanford Pentagon. They will ring in the new year at home against Southwest Minnesota State on Jan. 3.
January will consist of nine games with five of them at home and the other four on the road. Closing out the regular season, February will see seven games, three at home and four on the road.
Augustana will face three teams that made the NCAA Division II Tournament last season in Truman State, Minnesota Duluth and MSU Moorhead.
Rivalry match-ups with Sioux Falls are slated for Jan. 4 at the Sanford Pentagon and Feb. 21 at the Stewart Center. The Vikings will close out their home portion of the regular season against Concordia St. Paul on Feb. 15 with the regular season ending with a matchup on the road against Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 22.
All NSIC regular-season games are men's and women's double-headers.
The NSIC postseason opening-round action starts on Wednesday, Feb. 26, with the top-eight seeds hosting games. Season tickets are available to purchase now for the 2019-20 basketball season and include tickets to all home, regular-season men's & women's matchups at the Sanford Pentagon and the Elmen Center. Season tickets include reserved seating at all games hosted at the Sanford Pentagon and start at $169/seat.
