SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana swimming head coach Lindsie Micko has announced the 2019-20 schedule on Thursday. The schedule will feature five home meets split between the Elmen Center and the Midco Aquatic Center. 

Augustana will enter its fourth season of competition this year and already are making considerable strides in its short history. 

The Vikings will start their 2019-20 slate with an intrasquad meet on Sept. 27 at the Elmen Center Swimming Pool before starting Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action on Oct. 4-5 in Bismarck, N.D. against Northern State, U-Mary and Sioux Falls. 

Augustana will then travel to Aberdeen, S.D. to compete against Northern State on Oct. 11 and then head south to compete in the Midwestern Shootout in Omaha, Neb. A couple of weeks later the Vikings will host their first meet at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. against Minnesota State, Sioux Falls and MSU Moorhead on Oct. 25-26.

November will see three meets in three different states starting with the Morningside Invite on Nov. 9 in Sioux City, Iowa. Augustana will then face Minnesota State in Mankato, Minn. before ending the month and the 2019 calendar year hosting the Augustana Invitational on Nov. 21-23 at the Midco Aquatic Center. 

Starting off the new year, the Vikings will host their final home meet of the season against Southwest Minnesota State on Jan. 11 at the Elmen Center. Augustana will conclude the 2019-20 regular season in Nebraska against Nebraska-Kearney on Jan. 25. 

The NSIC Championships will be held in Bismarck, N.D. on Feb. 12-15 and the NCAA Championships will take place on March 11-14 in Geneva, Ohio.
