SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana swimming team has entered the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Top-25 for the first time in program history. The Vikings check in at No. 22 with 23 points.
 
Augustana swimming, in just its fourth year of existence, is one of two NSIC schools in the poll dated Jan. 16.
 
The Vikings are coming off a 199-57 dual win over Southwest Minnesota State and hold a 5-4 mark in dual meets this season. After the dual with the Mustangs, junior Taylor Beagle earned the NSIC's Swimmer of the Week. She claimed two of the Vikings' 11 individual event victories against SMSU to earn the first weekly honor of her career.
 
Augustana is back in action on Jan. 25 with a dual at Nebraska-Kearney, the final tune-up before the NSIC Championships. The conference meet is slated for Feb. 12-15 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
