Track and Field Teams, 13 Athletes Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

NEW ORLEANS -- The Augustana men's and women's track and field teams, along with 13 of its athletes, were awarded USTFCCCA All-Academic honors the USTFCCCA announced Thursday morning.

In order to qualify for team honors, the cumulative GPA of all student-athletes on indoor and outdoor teams must average above a 3.0. The men came in with a 3.34 GPA and were one of 114 programs honored while the women finished up with a 3.59 GPA while being one of 149 programs honored. For the men, it's their 10th team honor and the 13th for the women.

Individually, three men and ten women represented the Vikings on the All-Academic Team. In order to qualify for individual honors, a cumulative GPA of 3.25 was required. 208 men from 73 different institutions were honored along with 321 women from 93 different institutions.
