SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana track & field teams make their way to Fargo, North Dakota, on Friday for the Bison Open.
The Event
The Bison of North Dakota State welcome the Vikings on Friday. Field events are slated for 4 p.m. and running events are at 4:30 p.m. inside the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track and Field Facility. The full schedule of events can be found here.
Last Time Out
On the women's side, three of the NSIC's top-eight times in the 800m came from the trio of Sydney Mudgett, Molly Boyum and Noa Marteau taking the sixth through eighth spots, which took place this past Sunday at the Northern State Invite.
Elizabeth Schaefer, a national qualifier from last season, made her season debut last weekend, winning the high jump with a height of 5-5, putting her tied for fifth in the conference.
Senior Kali Ryan ran a 3:04.08 in the 1000m, a time that sits her at fourth in the conference.
On the men's side, sophomore Lawrence Lokonobei ran the 55m hurdles in a time that converts to 8.38 for the 60m, placing him second in the conference.
Last week's 800m from junior Noah Melton currently holds the top spot for the conference in 1:57.69.

Following the Bison Open, Augustana has two more regular-season events, the SDSU Indoor Classic and the SDSU Last Chance taking place the next two weekends. The NSIC Indoor Track & FIeld Championships are slated for Feb. 26-27 in Mankato, Minnesota.
