Chrisitan Kuzemka Earns NSIC Player of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- After being red-hot at the plate last week in Augustana's five conference games, senior infielder Chrisitan Kuzemka has been named the NSIC Player of the Week the conference office announced Tuesday morning.

In two games against Minnesota Duluth and three games against UMary, Kuzemka went 10-for-17 at the plate with two homers, 11 RBIs and eight runs scored, helping the Vikings cruise to a 4-1 record last week.

On the season, the Augustana newcomer is now hitting .394 with 16 runs scored, 24 RBIs, four doubles, one triple, four homers and three stolen bases.

Kuzemka and the rest of the Vikings are back in action Wednesday afternoon with a doubleheader at Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
