BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana track & field's Henry Klitzke has been named the NSIC Track Athlete of the Week. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native placed seventh in the 3,000m at the Mines Winter Classic on Friday Night.

Klitzke's time of 8:33.70, when converted for altitude and track size, is an NCAA Provisional Qualifying time of 8:09.97 ranking him 20th in the nation, along with first in the NSIC.

The Vikings will once again have a weekend of multiple meets. Augustana will be competing at the Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State on Friday and the Ichabod Invite hosted by Washburn on Saturday. Another contingent of the team will compete at the SDSU Classic hosted by South Dakota State on Friday and Saturday.
