BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Senior Austin Miller earned his second-straight NSIC Track Athlete of the Week honor after his performances at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Miller had a week to remember, lowering his school record in the 1,500m cruising to the 10th fastest time in Division II history, clocking a 3:40.59. Miller also ran a new personal best in the 800m, running 1:48.61. 

He currently ranks third in the nation in the 1,500m, along with seventh in the 800m.

Miller is the only one this year to be ranked in the top eight in both events.

Up Next

The Vikings will have a split weekend traveling to the Northern State Spring Open in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and the Holst Invitational in St. Paul, Minnesota. Both meets will be taking place on Saturday.
