INDIANAPOLIS – The Augustana baseball team is headed to Warrensburg, Missouri, for the NCAA Division II Central Regional. The No. 5-seed Vikings will face the No. 4-seed Mavericks of Minnesota State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.
 
Augustana, 44-10-1 on the year, is entering its fourth-straight NCAA Tournament after claiming the regular season NSIC Championship. The other teams partaking in the NCAA Central Region Pod No. 1 is the host Central Missouri and No. 8 Ouachita Baptist.
 
The tournament will flow with two games Thursday, two Friday, two Saturday and potentially, the if necessary game on Sunday.
