SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Jack Hines earned NSIC Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. Hines helped Augustana go 5-0 last week against Upper Iowa and Sioux Falls.

Hines, from Willowbrook, Illinois, tallied 14 RBI and logged 10 hits across Augustana's five wins last week. He recorded three home runs, one triple and held a batting average of .625 (10-for-16) for the week.

The sophomore scored seven runs for the Vikings and held a 1.313 slugging percentage.

Augustana is back in action on Friday and Saturday against Minnesota State in Mankato, Minn. The first game of the series is slated for 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
