SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's basketball squad is set for a weekend on the road to face St. Cloud State on Friday and No. 13 Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. Friday night's game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off while Saturday's contest is set for 5:30 p.m..

Scouting the Huskies
St. Cloud State heads into this weekend's contest with a 14-4 overall record while holding an 11-3 record within the NSIC. This past weekend the Huskies swept Southwest Minnesota State, 70-59 in overtime, then Sioux Falls, 61-42.
SCSU is led in scoring by Katrina Theis who averages 17.7 points per game. Theis also leads the Huskies in blocks averaging .9 a game, she also leads in steals with 1.9 a contest. Tori Peschel leads SCSU in rebounds, collecting 8.5 a game. Peschel also leads St. Cloud State in assists averaging 3.3 a contest.
Scouting the Bulldogs
No. 10 Minnesota Duluth enters this weekend 17-2 overall while remaining undefeated in NSIC action with a 14-0 overall record. The Bulldogs last loss was on Nov. 26, 2022, against Michigan Tech, 61-46.
The Bulldogs are led by this week's NSIC North Division Player of the Week and DCIDA National Player of the Week, Brooke Olson. Olson averages 20.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. Olson saw a season-high 35 points this past weekend in the Bulldogs 87-75 victory over SMSU. She is currently the NSIC and nation's leader in field goals made with 157.
The Vikings
Augustana heads into this weekend's contest 17-3 overall while holding a 11-3 record in the NSIC. This past weekend the Vikings swept Minnesota Crookston, 69-60, and Bemidji State, 82-38. AU remains undefeated at home this season with 12-straight home wins, the longest since 2006-07.
Back-to-back NSIC South Division Player of the Week, Aislinn Duffy, continues to lead Augustana in points, rebounds and assists firmly planting herself in the All-America conversation. Duffy is averaging 16.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game so far this season. This past weekend she collected her 20th career double-double and eighth this season in the Vikings win against Minnesota Crookston where Duffy garnered 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Jennifer Aadland leads Augustana in blocks averaging 1.4 a game while also leading the Vikings in field goal percentage at 53.2 percent. Aadland is ranked 32nd in the nation and third in the NSIC in blocks with 28 while also being ranked 41st in the nation and second in the NSIC in blocks per game.
Kenzie Rensch continues to control the ball by leading both Augustana and the NSIC in steals. Rensch has grasped 65 steals so far this season to rank third nationally. Rensch also leads the squad in steals per game averaging 3.25 a game. She ranks second in the NSIC and sixth in the nation in that category.
One Last Thing
Augustana leads the NSIC in two categories, assists per game and defensive rebounds per game. The Vikings rank 22nd in the nation in assists per game averaging 16.2 a contest. Duffy leads Augustana individually in assists per game with 4.3 ranking second in the NSIC and 48th in the nation. Augustana ranks 25th in the nation in defensive rebounds averaging 29.4 a contest. Duffy also leads Augustana in defensive rebounds averaging 6.4 a game and ranks 43rd nationally.
