SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's basketball squad is set for a weekend up north to face Northern State on Friday and MSU Moorhead on Saturday. Friday night's game is slated for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off while Saturday's contest is set for 3:30 p.m..

Scouting the Wolves
Northern State heads into this weekend's contest with a 7-6 overall record while holding a 2-5 record within the NSIC. This past weekend the Wolves fell to Minnesota Duluth, 70-63, and St. Cloud State, 74-53. Northern State's last win was against Bemidji State in early December.
The Wolves are led in scoring by Kailee Oliverson averaging 12.5 points per game. Leading the Northern State defense is Laurie Rogers who averages 7.3 rebounds a contest while also leading the Wolves in blocks with 1.9 per game.
Scouting the Dragons
MSU Moorhead enters this weekend 6-5 overall with a 3-4 record in the NSIC. The Dragons picked up two losses in NSIC play following this weekend's contests against St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth.
The Dragons are led in scoring by Natalie Jens who is averaging 14.9 points per game. Jens also leads the squad in assists collecting 2.8 a contest. Leading the MSU Moorhead defense is Mariah McKeever averaging 7.0 rebounds per game while also leading the Dragons in steals with 1.8 per game.
The Vikings
Augustana heads into this weekend's contest 12-2 overall while holding a 6-2 record in the NSIC. This past weekend, the Vikings slipped past the Wildcats of Wayne State with a 80-77 win on Dec. 31. A career-high 29 points for Michaela Jewett and a 1,000 career-point milestone for Lauren Sees sealed the deal for the Viking's success against WSC. AU is holding on to a five game winning streak and has remained undefeated at home this season with an 8-0 record.
Aislinn Duffy continues to lead the way for the Vikings in scoring, rebounding and assists this season. Duffy is averaging 15.2 points per game while picking up 8.3 rebounds a contest and tacking on 4.9 assists. Duffy is currently the NSIC leader in assists, assists per game, double-doubles and triple-doubles.
Adding on to Duffy's NSIC leaderboard is Kenzie Rensch who leads the NSIC in total steals with 45. Rensch also lands third in the nation in total steals.
One Last Thing
Augustana leads the NSIC in field goal percentage at 46.2 percent. The Vikings are ranked 18th in the nation in that category knocking down 419 of their 907 attempts this season. Duffy leads Augustana in field goal percentage with 53 percent.
