How It Happened
- Lanie Veenendall won the tournament with 144 strokes, five shots ahead of teammate Shannon McCormick. Her 144 shots were even par for the tournament.
- Her opening round 68 is a personal best and set a tournament record at 4-under-par.
- The Vikings' 589 strokes surpassed the previous tournament record held by…Augustana… which was set in 2011 at 602 strokes.
- McCormick flew up the leaderboard Sunday by 15 positions as she tallied a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to finish with 149 strokes.
- Masy Mock and Molly Stevens earned a tie for third place with 150 strokes at 6-over-par.
- Lauren Tims was the final Vikings' point scorer as she totaled 151 shots to tie for sixth.
- Tims tied with teammate Annika Stensrud, who was competing as an individual in the event.
- Making her collegiate debut in the event was Mattie Weidenbach, also competing as an individual, with 166 strokes and finishing in the top half of the field with a tie for 43rd.
