SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's basketball team is set for its final week of regular season play by hosting Southwest Minnesota State on Thursday, then traveling to Sioux Falls on Saturday. Thursday night's game starts at 7:30 p.m., while Saturday's tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
Prior to the game on Thursday, AU will recognize head coach Dave Krauth to congratulate him on his 34th and final season with Augustana women's basketball. Thursday's game is also the Be Bold, Wear Gold contest as fans are encouraged to wear Gold in support of Augiethon and its efforts to raise money for Sanford Children's Hospital

Scouting the Mustangs
SMSU enters this weekend 16-9 overall while holding a 13-7 record within the NSIC. This past weekend the Peacocks of Upper Iowa, 63-55, and the Warriors of Winona State, 73-64.
The Mustangs are led in scoring by Bri Stoltzman who is averaging 13.6 points per game. Stoltzman also leads SMSU in rebounds averaging 6.7 rebounds a contest.
Scouting the Cougars
Sioux Falls enters this weekend 7-19 overall while holding a 4-16 with the NSIC. USF split this past weekend picking up a win over Winona State, 59-41, while losing to Upper Iowa, 67-75.
The Cougars are led in scoring by Olivia Gamoke who is averaging 11.0 points per game. Gomoke also leads the squad in assists and defensive rebounds, collecting 2.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds a contest.
The Vikings
Augustana returns this weekend with a 22-4 overall record and a 16-4 record within the NSIC. This past weekend, the Vikings extended their win-streak to 10 following their win over Concordia-St. Paul, 95-67, until falling to No. 14 Minnesota State, 83-61.
Lauren Sees recorded a career-high 30 points against CSP leading scoring for both squads. Aislinn Duffy collected her 21st double-double of her career and ninth this season against the Golden Bears with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Duffy continues to lead AU in scoring, averaging 16.6 points a contest. Duffy also leads the Vikings in rebounds and assists averaging 8.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest.
Kenzie Rensch is continuing to control the ball, leading both Augustana and the NSIC in total steals and steals per game. Rensch has amassed 84 total steals while averaging 3.23 a game.
One Last Thing
Thursday night's contest will be Augustana head coach Dave Krauth's last regular season home game. Krauth is the all-time winningest coach in Viking women's basketball history. He enters this weekend's contests with a 692-300 record. He is ranked as the fifth active winningest coach in NCAA Division II women's basketball history.
