HOLLAND, Mich. – The Augustana men's swimming & diving squad broke the school record in the 400 medley relay during the second day of the GLIAC Championships.
The quartet of Jackson Dircks, Mason Kauffeld, Pedro Borin and Lui Gabriel Pinto broke the 400 relay record with a time of 3:21.72. The squad broke their own previous record of 3:23.72 back at the Augustana Invitational in November.
Seeing individual success outside of the relay, Borin saw an impressive performance in the 100 fly, seeing a trip to the podium with an eighth place finish timing a 49.95 finish.
Pinto joined Borin in the individual finals competition. He saw a 16th-place finish in the 200 free garnering a time of 1:43.72.
