SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's basketball team returns to the Sanford Pentagon this weekend to host Concordia-St. Paul and No. 14 Minnesota State. Friday night's game starts at 7:30 p.m., while Saturdays tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
Saturday night's game will be senior night & alumni night. We will recognize seniors Lizzy Karp and Aislinn Duffy prior to the game. Then, at halftime, Augustana women's basketball alumni will be recognized. Following the game, the Augustana Final Four squad will be recognized for their 10 year anniversary.

Scouting the Golden Bears
CSP enters this weekend 11-11 overall while holding a 8-10 record within the NSIC. This past weekend the Golden Bears defeated Sioux Falls, 64-46, while seeing a loss to Southwest Minnesota State, 67-59.
Concordia-St. Paul is led in scoring by Ally Gietzel averaging 16.1 points per game. Gietzel also leads the Golden Bears in rebounds and assists averaging 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
Scouting the Mavericks
No. 14 Minnesota State enters this weekend tied for first place with AU in the NSIC south division standings with a 15-3 NSIC record. MSU holds a 19-3 overall record seeing a sweep this past weekend against SMSU, 81-70, and Sioux Falls, 71-61.
The Mavericks are led in scoring by Joey Batt who is averaging 17.0 points per game. Batt also leads the squad in assists and steals averaging 3.7 assists and 3.3 steals per game.
The Vikings
Augustana returns this weekend with a 21-3 overall record and a 15-3 record within the NSIC. The Vikings are currently on a nine-game win streak with their last loss being on Jan. 6 against Northern State. AU has remained undefeated at home with a 12-0 record. This past weekend, Augustana extended its win streak with a sweep over Winona State, 79-71, and Upper Iowa, 82-79.
Aislinn Duffy continues to lead the Vikings in scoring, rebounds and assists. The recently coined NSIC South Division Player of the Week, is averaging 16.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Duffy has continued to be a force to be reckoned with at the hoop. She has collected eight double-doubles and one triple-double so far this season. While being coined the NSIC South Player of the Week four times so far this season, Duffy has led AU to win four NSIC weekly honors in a row with the help of last week's honor for Michaela Jewett.
Jewett leads the squad in 3-point field goal attempts while taking second place in the NSIC with 157. Jewett recorded her first career double-double in the Vikings win against No. 10 Minnesota Duluth two weekends ago.
One Last Thing
It will be the battle of the thieves this weekend as MSU's Joey Batt leads the NSIC in steals per game with 3.32 while Augustana's Kenzie Rensch leads the NSIC in total steals with 78. Both follow one another in each category.
