CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa–Augustana sophomore Jaxson Rohman is an All-American, and now he's headed to the finals of the 2023 NCAA DII National Championships at 125 pounds. 

Rohman defeated defending national champion No. 1 Cole Laya of West Liberty in a 4-3 decision that sends him to his first championship match. Laya is a five-time All-American and a two-time NCAA National Champion. 

With Laya leading 3-2, a gator roll late in the third period helped Rohman secure a takedown and the victory. 

He will face second-seeded Brendon Garcia of Adams State in the championship match at 7 p.m. The Championship match will be streamed free with links available at GoAugie.com.
