SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana baseball team hosts the NCAA Division II Super Region for just the second time in program history as it welcomes Minnesota State Friday and Saturday. Friday's first pitch is at 6 p.m. while Saturday has a 1 p.m. first pitch. With the best-of-three series, the if-necessary game three will take place at approximately 4 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets
With an anticipated large crowd, fans can purchase tickets in advance at GoAugie.com/Tickets. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $3 for college students (with ID) and $3 for youth (ages 3-18). As a friendly reminder, only certified service animals are allowed on campus at Augustana University.
Â
Tailgate
Tailgating at baseball is not only free at Augustana, but it is encouraged. Parking lots at the Elmen Center, which is directly adjacent to the east of Ronken Field, will open at 3 p.m. prior to Friday's first pitch to allow fans the opportunity to tailgate. A food truck will also be present to help those hungry fans grab a bite to eat.

Baseball
As the top two teams in the region, both squads feature some of the nation's best. Augustana has the NCAA leader (any division) in saves with
Adam Diedrich. The righty sophomore has tallied up 14 saves, an Augustana school record, throughout his first season as the Vikings' closer.
Â
For the Mavericks, Dylan Gotto ranks fifth in NCAA Division II with his 7.17 strikeouts-to-walk ratio.
Â
No matter how you look at it, good baseball will be played.

712
No, we're not talking about an area code here. This is the current attendance record at Ronken Field set on May 24, 2019, when the Vikings hosted Central Missouri in the first game of the 2019 Central Super Regional. There is a strong belief that this number could be shattered at one of the games this weekend as the two NSIC rivals contest for the region championship.
